Tic-Tactics-Toe
A downloadable game for Windows
You've played Tic-Tac-Toe. Now, relive the ancient battle that inspired it. After centuries of simmering conflict, tensions between the blue-clad armies of Xyxxiax and the orange-loving Kingdom of OooOoo have reached a boiling point. End this age-old rivalry by dispatching your forces to the battlefield, where they'll unleash unique abilities to claim territory in hopes of discovering the mythic "four in a row."
Tic-Tactics-Toe was designed and programmed by Christopher Gates for the No Ice in California Game Jam. It features sprites from the Hexany's Roguelike Tiles set, the Direct Message font by VEXED, Salmon Typewriter by Phildjii, and sounds from TomMusic and Leohpaz.
To play (Windows only):
- When it's your turn, select a unit on your team from the sidelines. Units are sent to the sidelines at random; you never know who's going to turn up next.
- Select an empty space on the battlefield grid for the unit to occupy.
- If the unit can perform its action, select a valid target. Note that units can (and will) die, so plan accordingly.
- Every type of unit has its own combination of stats and unique abilities. Play around to figure out your favorite combinations.
- The first team to create an unbroken line of four units in a row wins!

Hello is there anyway to update this game the exe doesn't seem to run.
Hey! So, it runs okay on my machine, but I'm happy to help troubleshoot -- what platform are you on, and what happens exactly when you try to run the exe?
It opens and immediately closes. Windows computer. I only have the exe file.
There should be a .pak file in the zip -- is that in the same directory as the exe? You'll need both for the game to run.
Nice! Love this one!
A really cool twist on a classic game!
